Busy taking over the world
It's been a while since I've posted but work and life have been keeping me busy. I have been averaging six days a week at work and when I'm not working, I'm trying to spend time with my wife and children.
Work is something that I am very grateful for having. I may go a little overboard but I am a known work-o-holic and the last two years I have been busting my tail and that work is paying great dividends. I have won the respect of my peers and management alike. Working on a major project like I've been doing I have had to adjust to a lot of pressure but I am now taking it in stride and I give it my all. Sad enough, I find myself dreaming of work while I sleep (sometimes just because work interrupts my sleep as often as it does) and trying to find new ways that I can make a difference. I would love to infect others with this wired ability, there are many that could benefit by putting just a little more into each day. I love to see how I can impact how things work, now seeing that my ideas do make a difference and when I speak, people are willing to listen. Is this leadership or just me being a good pain in the ass? I am not sure. Some days I believe that it is a little of each, depending on the situtation. All I know is that it's amazing at where I find myself, working for a great company and with good people. All this was just a big dream growing up in the small town that I did. Just remember, hard work will pay off eventually, sometimes it takes longer than others.
Outside of work, we've been enjoying a great time with our circle of friends. We've decided to create a backyard football league so that we can see each other more often and even get some exercise. Of course after you read the rules you will understand more about why it is going to be so much fun. ;-)
Well not much else on my mind today. Remember "If you don't learn something new everyday, you are not living"
