Recital Weekend and Packing

This weekend was a long one filled with performances as it was the end of the year dance recital for my daughter. My Mother-in-law was down from TN for the show and we had a good visit with her. The performance was very good and Morgan did a great job. She was named most improved dancer in her class and I think that was a great suprise to her. She has really come a long way from the beginning of the dance year back in September and she worked really hard (almost giving up a few times) before getting the routine down. I can't put into words just how proud of her I am.
Today I was going nuts being idle and my not so nice side came out. We are down to six days before the movers get here and we still have a lot of boxes left to pack. I drove up to Home Depot for some more bubble wrap and picked up my first home improvement book: Home Depot's Home Improvement 1-2-3. I hope that I can learn how to do the simple things around the house as well as I have taught myself other things on the computer. I want to be handy in other things than just computers. We ended up getting four more boxes packed, I got the pile of things on my desk filed in the filing cabinet and finally browsed my way through the stack of magazines that has been waiting for me to get through them so they can be recyled. Progress is good and I can't wait for it all to be done.
